Rodney Raccoon
Rodney is the energetic leader of his hip-hop band.
He asks lots of good questions and he loves going on
fun, learning adventures. He is the lead singer in his
band and enjoys teaching other children the things he
learns through hip-hop music. Rodney has the coolest attitude. “Rodney’s
the type that can cut in line
and nobody will say nothin'. Smooth but out goin'."
Boogie
Bear
Boogie Bear is Rodney’s best friend and he is as
relaxed as Rodney is energized. He has a soothing voice
and always thinks before he acts. He loves teamwork and
he rocks the keyboard in Rodney’s band.
Ro’Chell Raccoon
Ro’Chell
is smart, fashion savvy and is the most
popular girl in school. She uses her popularity to
help others and never asks for anything in return for
her good deeds. She is also a great MC and sings in
Rodney’s band.
Tami
Tiger
Tami has a bubbly spirit, high-pitched voice, and is
fond of acting silly. She is a bit naive, but always
laughs at herself when she makes mistakes. She
enjoys the work out she gets from playing drums
in Rodney’s band.
Cemoure
Chavez
Cemoure is a natural leader, but he shuts himself off
to the world when things do not go his way. He is
also a hopeless romantic who loves finger painting
great works of art when he isn’t break-dancing in
Rodney’s shows.
Bianca
Chang
Bianca has a very high IQ and has trouble
communicating with her classmates because she
speaks like a rocket scientist. She is an
exceptional inventor and is known as the
MacGyver of WayOut Elementary. She uses materials
around the school (trash cans, brooms, chairs)
to ‘stomp’ dance in Rodney’s shows.
Jon
Jon Franklin
Jon Jon is a big kid who wants to be friends with
the other children, but he only knows how to
interact as a bully. Deep down inside he is a
kind person, but he’s afraid his classmates
will find out what an amazing tap dancer he is
and make fun of him.
Monique Roland
Monique is a fast-talking, bubble gum popping,
Daddy’s girl. She can never be wrong and enjoys
negotiating her way in and out of situations. She
is also a phenomenal ‘krumper’ and loves taking
center stage during Rodney’s shows. She’s the rich
girl in the crew.
Professor Johnson
Professor Johnson is Rodney’s father and a very
successful scientist who has dedicated his life to
making the world a better place through his inventions.
He is honest, disciplined and loving, but he never
seems to notice how Ms. Williams looks at him.
Ms.
Williams
Ms. Williams is an innovative teacher and a very
beautiful woman. She is classy, cheerful and always
has time for a hug. Faced with minimal resources,
she uses innovative teaching techniques to
inspire and educate her students. She has a
crush on Professor Johnson.
